Why I Want To Attend The Fashion Insitute Of Tech
I will start by introducing myself. My name is Monique McEachin. I am twenty years old. Graduated 1999 from Harry S. Truman High School with a diploma for Business and Mathematics. I am now looking to continue my education in order to become an Interior Designer.
Applying to FIT was an easy choice. FIT has a highly recommended reputation for it's location and all the facilities located around the school. Since I am planning to make Interior Design my major and have no history or experience in that field. FIT has reasonably sized classes to make learning easier and to enable teachers to give attention to each student as needed individually. Which to me is great since I have no experience in the Interior Design field and the extra attention might be needed on my behalf. My motivation and desire to attend FIT has come from speaking with people who have attended FIT and gained a lot from their experience at FIT. My desire for Interior Design has grown since working at my current place of employment. I am currently working for Corgan Associates Architects, PC an architectural firm in NYC. Even though I am only the front desk receptionist, just the environment I am in makes me want this even more. While I watch all the Interior Designers, Architects and Space Planner do their jobs I am getting the drive to really go for it.
