Computer technology is one of the most important invention in the history of the man kind that had made lives easier and more convenient . Indeed, the computer has changed ways people work, do business, problem solving, research, ways of communication, and the variety of choices people have to find entertainment. To illustrate, beside being a direct source of information for everyone through the Internet, it can easily allow us to write faster and clearly, create a database, send and receive messages and e-mails or play a game. However, people, nowadays, are arguing whether the government should spend more money on developing its computer technology or use this money to be spent on the basics. I strongly believe that it is better to take care more of the necessary basics such as education, health, and poverty which people of the country need more.

First of all, more money should be spent on the most valuable need which is developing the education system. Even though education dispels ignorance and is the only wealth that cannot be robbed, many countries does not take good care of what the children learn in schools. For example, in my country, the new government is investing a lot of money to develop the computer technology in the schools and the work places and forgot about the quality of its education system. However, if they spend that much of money on that without looking carefully to where and what the children are learning, those children will graduate with a lack of the knowledge and the information needed to use this technology the right usage. Governments should create a good environment where students can learn properly by building more developed schools and provide more professional teachers who has experience in dealing with students and from whom the students can easily receive the information. Also, they need to develop the content of the curriculum by using the help of those who have the experience and doing a lot of research....
