Sam Walton Rolling Rolling Rolling keep them prices Rolling, You've probably heard this jingle for Wal-Mart many times but have you ever heard about Wal-Mart's creator Sam Walton? Sam Walton creator of a billion dollar franchise has achieved the title of a renaissance person. He has worked hard all his life trying to meet his goals and create a business, by doing this he attained the qualities to be named a renaissance person. Sam has the characteristics of being well-mannered, creative, athletic, and educated.

Sam Walton has a very creative and well-mannered personality and always wants things to be fun for everyone! When opening new stores he likes the grand opening to be a lot like a opening night at a circus. He's sure to have a big red tent with clowns, refreshments and live entertainment for the whole family. With his creativity he generated a new style of management that is still used today. His changing of management went along with his well-mannered side by making it fun and easy for the employees. He was always taking suggestions from others and his number one priority is to meet the customers satisfactions.

When Sam was in high school people frequently heard the announcer saying his name during the games. He was the quarter back for his high school team. While he was playing for his team they won every single game and the state title. Sam was also the captain of his basketball team while he was a senior. After he graduated from college he got a job at a JCPenny. A short time after getting his job he resigned to join the U.S. military to serve in World War II. He joined the intelligence corps and worked at prisoner of war camps. Later on when Sam Walton was diagnosed with leukemia he was very upset he was not able to be as athletic as he was before....
