Nowadays, in our modern society, women have a higher position than they did before. They are now good mothers, wives, workers or teachers who contribute a lot to the development of Vietnam. They can also do many things that men can do to glory to our country.
Firstly, the role of Eastern women is to be good wives and mothers. They have to take care of their families. Everyday, not only do they serve meals for their husbands and children but also share all their ups and downs. They are people who encourage their husbands to work well to contribute to our society. In a family, the mother always the one who teaches her children good or bad things so that they will become good citizens in the future. Therefore, I think that the first contribution of women to our country is to help it have model citizens who are willing to devote their talent to make our country develop.
That is the women's role in their families. So what else can they do to our society? The female teachers, doctors, politicians or managers can make people around the world know about Vietnam by their accomplishment. They are also teachers who widen the knowledge of their beloved students. In addition, many skillful woman doctors have saved many lives or given the happiness to their patients. For example, many patients will be very grateful to doctor Nguyeãn Thò Ngoïc Phöôïng because she has helped them, the infertile couples to have children. Moreover Vietnamese women such as Mrs. Nguyeãn Thò Bình or Toân Nöõ Thò Ninh are very talented politicians who represent for the whole country to go to conferences that have many male leaders of world's powers to talk about the point of view of Vietnamese.
