Introduction
James MacGregor Burns defines leadership as …”leaders inducing followers to act for certain goals that represent the values and the motivations-the wants and needs, the aspirations and expectations-of both leaders and followers.” Intersect Investment Services was solid on the vision identified by the CEO; to provide a broad set of products and services to consumer and small business customers using a model of customer intimacy in an effort to build long-term relationships with customers based on trust and value to the customer. This paper will examine a proposed solution to help Intersect Investment develop a change management plan.
The proposed solutions will focus on the leadership and change management concepts associated with transformational concepts. “Leaders committed to transformational change purposefully alter the very relationships that define their enterprises: relationships with customers, with suppliers, with employees, with competitors, and the internal relationships between working units… the success of these leaders depends more on personal trust and faith than on managerial control, more on vision than on analysis, more on learning than on knowing, more on invention than on tradition (Wesley, 1996).
Today, many companies are finding their entire industries in turmoil and redefined by a several factors in the outside environment. These factors include: radically new technologies, collapse of key revenue sources, and evolving social values just to name a few.

Problem Solution
Over the years the financial service industry has become volatile and many companies have found it difficult to sustain growth without offering a larger product base to its customers. Intersect Investment Services has identified a new vision in an attempt to implement fundamental changes in its operation to provide a broader set of products. Intersect hopes to build long-term relationships with its customers.
