Should Police Persuits Be Banned

Speech

The question of how police should handle high speed pursuits has always risen however this is a pretty intricate topic to talk about due to the fact that both sides of the argument are quite even. I wouldn't want high speed police pursuits to be fully banned but I would encourage better pursuit policies and officers to strictly obey them during all circumstances.

This issue cannot be completely removed from its origin by taking one huge step of banning high speed police pursuits. It never guarantees to stop the dangers and threats to people's safety and protection. If high speed police pursuits were banned, first of all if I was a skillful and a ruthless criminal, I would have asked my self what would actually take to commit a bank robbery?. The answer is clear; all I needed to scare people with my dangerous gun, tell my mates to quickly collect the money or loot people in the streets and escape in a fast sports car knowing the fact that all I have to do is to drive over a certain speed limit to avoid any sort of interception by police. By that all I mean to say is that restricting the ability of police and being lenient on them will certainly never bring any sympathy in their hearts for the public but will encourage them for more dangerous criminal activities and increase the deaths of more innocents.

However I don't think that leaving the issue as it is, is a good idea either. According to my opinion there are several uneasily noticeable factors and the only way to improve this issue is to concentrate on those unnoticed factors responsible for the exasperation of the issues dealing with these pursuits whom I am going to talk about.
