Essential to my philosophy of education is the belief that each student is a unique individual and must be treated with respect. I believe that as a teacher I am morally obligated to enter the classroom with only the highest of expectations for each and every one of my students not just a select few. I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, along with my highest expectations for all students to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to my students along with their families, and the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my classroom in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well. The environment will see success for every child, allowing them to see themselves as productive members of their communities. I find it necessary to maximize the positive benefits that naturally come along with the self-fulfilling prophecy as teaching. However, with dedication, perseverance, and hard work, all students will rise to the occasion of being taught and willing to learn.
