1. Introduction

1. Back ground

Tourism is both on actuality and an art. It is partly demand driven which arises from the economic circumstances of the consumer. Primary, Tourism is concerned with people training to historical and other tourist attractions places for different purpose. The word tourism did not appear in English language until early 19th century and word “tour” was more closely associated with the idea of voyage than with the idea of an individual being temporary away from home for pleasure, business confreres, etc which implies that tourism is a recent phenomena. (Yohannes 1985)

The ever-increasing economic importance tourism has now pained the attention of most countries of the world. Tourism was given little political relevance as recently as ten year ago. Now most countries, developed and developing have some sort of tourism policy. Many developed countries devote considerable amount of money to tourism promotion. In the words of the world tourism organization:

“Tourism is one of the most important economic social, cultural and political phenomena of the twenty first century” (peter Hay word, 2001)

Ethiopia is a country of endless cultural and geographical diversifies. It has plentiful natural resource with are naturally science and possess various tourist attractions. It has plentiful historical sites and cultural heritage which are recorded as the world’s most important tourist attractions. Beside Ethiopia is old beyond imagination dating back to the very beginning of mankind. It is also the land of Queen of Sheba, a place of legendary rulers, fabulous kingdoms and ancient mysteries with more than 80 languages.
