Parenting Skills

The reason why I chose my skill is because people use this skill

everyday in their lives. Even people who don’t have children benefit

from this skill because the simple fact of being an uncle, aunt or even

being around your friend’s children. There are many benefits of having

this skill. When you learn this skill of parenting, you can use it in your

everyday life towards others. When a person becomes a parent they

have to learn the responsibility of that child. Sometimes in life you

have to make decisions for that child. You learn to make a decision

that will be with the best interest of that child. The benefits are to be

learning responsibility for the child, caring for the well being of the

child. Those are only a few of the skills needed, yet there are many

more.

There are a lot of people that do not have children but could use

the skills of being a parent. When someone is not a parent that they

could use these skills in responsibility, caring and personal skills in

everyday life. For aunts, uncles and friends without children it helps to

benefit them by knowing how to use these skills. When an aunt or

uncle have the child and go for an outing, these skills are beneficial

for the fact every child at one point or another will test an adult’s

resolve. A temper tantrum is not fun for anyone, even harder on a

person that has no experience in this. This is when good parenting

skills are beneficial. Knowing how to handle the situation will result in

the child learning not to test the aunt or uncle. The well being of a

child is important. The simple fact for them to receive shelter,

nutrition and plenty of rest. If the child does not receive

shelter, nutrition or plenty of rest could consequences in sickness or
