Mysteries Uncovered In The Book Of Exodus

The Bible is a collection of books that is full of mysteries. There are many interesting stories in it that helps us reflect about life and makes us wonder what is the message or the meaning behind the text. The Book of Exodus probably is one of the most interesting books in the Bible. It is the heart of the Old Testament and makes it fully relevant in presenting to us a God who frees humankind. It tells us the story of the escape from Egypt to the Promised Land by the Israelites. It is God’s great exploit in the Old Testament: setting out from a place of slavery to go towards Canaan. God frees his people “with great power, a strong hand and an outstretched arm” which means striking with mighty blows, and opening for them a way through the sea. How would they explain it? In the book of Exodus, it was stated that God parted the Red Sea and allowed the Israelites to pass but drowned the Egyptian armies. This was also discussed in the...
