My Life Goals
Ambitions and Life Purpose
Choices, everyone has to make them all that differentiates one from another is to what extent it will impact your life and what direction it will lead you in. Up till now the choices I have made have been geared toward higher education and perusing what I enjoy doing. I plan on going to college to become a Mechanical Engineer. I have always enjoyed taking thing apart that are broken and attempting to fix and put them back together. This also opens a lot of doors for me in my future because Mechanical Engineering in some way, shape, or form has to do with just about anything that we see or use in our lives.
Currently I am aiming toward being admitted to Rochester Institute of Technology, which is know for its education in the fields of engineering. If I am denied acceptance to RIT I plan on attending New Jersey Institute of Technology to peruse further education in the same field. During my time in college I plan of taking a background in physics to help myself better understand the forces and rigors material undergo as well as basic Engineering courses to prep myself for my future career.
After I obtain either my masters or doctorate degree I plan on obtaining a job working for the government where I can gain experience in my field and possibly expose myself to more job opportunities. I hope to eventually start up my own engineering company to help larger construction company’s maybe even the government with the construction and trouble shooting of the important machinery and products that hold both the economy and this country together.
Aside from my career I would also like to have the chance to travel the world and experience other cultures and activities. Ever since I was nine years old when my dad bought me my first fishing pole I have been "hooked."
