My Big Robotic Hero
Things were not looking good for their planet, so to save the rest of them, he and a steady crew went across the galaxies to get precious energon they needed to help their cause. However, the Decepticons were relentless in their pursuit to destroy the Autobots. Optimus Prime did not care that he may die from this war, just as long as the rest of his fellow Autobots were safe. Optimus Prime was a true hero, who lived and died for a just cause.
One of my many heroes is Optimus Prime from the show Transformers. I do not care if he is real or not, he is still a good guy doing what is right for others. He has died on numerous occasions for his comrades and innocent bystanders, but since he is a robot, he usually comes back one-way or another to keep on helping others. This shows two qualities I admire in a hero: compassion for others, and constant motivation to do what is right. I like these characteristics in a hero because it shows that they know what is right and wrong, but also that they are willing to do what is right, even if it is not best in their own self interest. Optimus Prime, in my opinion, is a perfect example of these qualities.
In conclusion, Optimus Prime is a true hero for anyone who believes in what is best for others around them. Optimus is also a hero that makes you feel compassion. He has made me care about his cause and him. I cried when died in the movies and I was happy when he defeated the Decepticons. Optimus Prime will also be a hero I, many other nerds, and even everyday guys will look up to.
