My Friend

It was not planned for the two of us to meet nor to become friends. It was not planned for me to have a new true friend after I lost my closest one, nor for him to have me as a friend. That's why I believe in the power a coincidence could have of powerful influence on people's lives and destinies.

I met him once or twice at the beginning of the second year at classroom. He was attending the same lecture I was attending . We were in the same school year and we hadn't known each other before. A strange and an overwhelming feeling ran down my body for no reason. I sensed that his presence would cast a makeover on my life,either good or bad ,either way, I would get in something with him. I felt that, and my feeling never lied to me.

For me, he was a normal person. He liked reading books more than anything else. He would spend hours reading a book or looking through a magazine. He was a bookworm maybe. He was also picky about choosing his stuff- and that exactly what made some of his colleagues look suspiciously at him and call him Weirdo. Anyway, days ran quite normally and no big change was smelled out in my life nor in his, I guess.

The year passed like the one before. I gained nothing but lost one of the best friends I've ever had in my life. He failed his school year because of a conspiracy a friend of his had made to get rid of him. Just because he was smarter, funnier and a more accepted person among his peers. His friend couldn't endure the love he saw in my best friend's friends' eyes to him, so he made up some trick and, unluckily, it worked.

I wondered sadly why would God take the good things out of me although I enjoyed them. But after some time, I realized that He knew better and He did do that for a purpose I didn't know then.

Now it's the fresh lecture of the third year. I was alone again.Honestly,I wasn't that enthusiastic for school for I was alone all time with no true friend to share with him my...
