Running Head: MOVIE ANALYSIS

Abstract

In order to write this paper to the best of my ability, I did a lot of internet searches about movie reviews and interpretations. I read some reviews written by professionals and I also read some reviews written by normal individuals that wanted to voice their opinions about a film. I also read an article on a website about how to analyze a movie. The use of the text from this class was very important throughout my writing. The text does a great job of providing many details about the different aspects of a movie. One thing that I noticed in my research is that non-professionals do not always agree with what the critics have to say about a movie. If a person goes to a movie and is thoroughly entertained, they are satisfied with the movie. Critics go into a movie looking for mistakes in acting, storyline, CG and many other things. My research has also shown me that older critics are often harder on movies than younger critics.

Analyzing a film, of course, isn’t the same thing as doing a film review, but I feel that a film needs to be analyzed in order to do a review. For this reason, I will be mentioning some film reviews in this paper. This paper will also analyze movie interpretation, explain the...
