Mobile Phone - A Blessing Or A Cursing

title:mobile phone - a blessing or a cursing?

Mobile phone has been the rage in our modern life. It even becomes a necessity for city people. Dose everybody like this guy? I hear two different voices.

Most people regard it as a big blessing, because of the great convenience it brings us. With a mobile phone, you can speak to a person almost whenever and wherever you want. You can keep in contact with a person through some simple thumb exercise instead of a complex lettering process. A mobile phone can also be fashionable and multi-functional. It can fill your each idle time with mp3 songs or some diminutive e-games. Recently, it even developed as a terminal to internet.

On the other hand, some opinions stand out that mobile phone is a cursing to us. They say it’s too convenient and you may lose yourself with a mobile phone in your pocket. Once you get a mobile phone and tell everybody your number, your mobile life begins, which means you should try your best to make sure it is power-on and the ring is audible, because you don't want to miss any message that is due to reach you. Even if you do not want to receive any message sometimes and just need a period of quiet, you will feel guilty for your friends as you make yourself unreachable through the mobile phone. Duplicated text messages are sent off during festivals and holidays, but emotions are much diluted within them as compared to the old letter-age. As for its multi-function, mobile phone changes itself into a needle and plugs into our life, even the tiniest space it won't let go. The already so-little piece of time we leave to our soul in the busy modern life is now occupied by this superficial guy.

The two viewpoints are both reasonable. Maybe it’s true that since each guy has his merits and demerits, so does a mobile phone.
