Abstract
How does InterClean change from selling a product to providing a solution/service based model to meet market demand in the industrial cleaning and sanitation industry? The author identified and assessed the problem from the most important issue to the least important issue through benchmarking techniques used by other companies who faced similar issues. Based on the researched presented by other companies, InterClean needs to focus on promoting an effective staffing system, enhance employee motivation, and develop a sales training and develop model. Through a benchmarking technique, InterClean can use the implementation process by other companies toward resolving their current issues. The outcome of the handling of the InterClean’s issues will be the determining factor as to how they will overcome future issues within their organization to achieve positive result.
