Introduction
Everyone possesses a different perspective of what is right and wrong. It is important for a person to understand with which perspective he or she is dealing. The Ethics Awareness Inventory assessment evaluates one’s ethical style by asking a series of questions, evaluating the answers, and revealing the type of ethical values one possesses. Even though results vary from one to the other, the majority of people base his or her ethical views on four perspectives: character, obligation, results, and equity; and, it is possible for some to have blended styles which places them into two categories. “The key word for each category represents a primary core value that forms a basis for ethical decision making within this ethical perspective”(Williams Institute for Ethics and Management, 2009). People falling under this category think more logically and will most likely base their values on what is most beneficial to the majority and not society as a whole.
