My favorite business is the Alterra Coffee Roasters, because of their unconditional interior design, welcoming staff members, unique menu options, involvement in the world, and accesible locations. As you walk in through the dark, wooden doors you already start to feel the relaxed atmosphere inside the shop. Majority of the shops are designed in a retro style with bricks lining the walls, big wood accented floor to ceiling windows, and velvet covered cushiony or wooden chair just luering you to sit in them and enjoy the view from the windows. The interior design is big part of why Alterra CoffeeRoasters is so popular; retro is the current generation's trend but it also invites in the previous generations reminding them of the old days. Just as you have you picked out the perfect spot, the welcoming staff members will asisst you with your order and help you pick something out if your new to the place or just wanting to change things up. The Alterra Staff Members are very unique individuals and part of why Alterra is so successfull is because they let their staff show off their uniquiness, and not just be boring servers/cashiers. Picking out what to get is pretty tough, because Alterra Coffee Roasters provides a wide range of drinks, snacks, pastry and even apparel. My personal favorite is Alterra's Citron Green Iced Tea with a Cranberry-Orange Scone. Over several past years Alterra has expanded their menu attracting more people because they can satisfy a larger crowd. Another attraction Alterra Coffee Roasters provides is their involvement in the world. Instead of being like majority of coffee shops, Alterra supports small-scale farmers in developing countries and promotes organic agricultural practices by offering a wide selection of Organic coffees in the Alterra Coffee Shops in America.
