Was Hitler actually a great leader or was he the downfall to the Nazi Regime? The Nazis were the cause of World War II, while the Fascist party run by Benito Mussolini was the cause of political chaos throughout Italy. Both of these dictators served in the army to achieve the rank of corporal. The political views, army tactics, and leadership of both Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini were very similar before and during WWII.
While Hitler was stationed for war in Ypres he was injured by an enemy shell and taken to a Belgian hospital. After war Hitler was recruited by a Military Intelligence Unit called the Press and Propaganda Department of Group Command IV of the Reichwehr. This group was ordered to keep close watch of the German worker’s party. While observing this group Hitler began to agree with them. The hatred that Hitler had for the Jews became part of the groups beliefs and political views. Hitler took this from a small group to a full political party of Germany. With help from supporters Hitler created a party program with twenty-five points. Hitler’s main point was the blaming of the Jews for inflation. Later on Hitler named this party the nationalists Socialist German Workers’ Party, Nazi for short.
