There is no doubt that nutrition is the core of human beings. Eating food is a necessity that we cannot do without and eating healthy nutritional food is extremely important for a healthy life of any person. It can safely be said that good nutrition is very important for our human body. Many researches have been conducted on nutrition, and they have been able to determine the fact that good nutrition for the human body results in the prevention of illnesses and contribute to the enhancement of human health. Many people tend to claim that they are too busy to maintain a healthy diet, and that is why they mostly eat junk food in order to save time. This way of thinking is incorrect. It is important for any person to have healthy eating habits.
It is important for people today to include more fruits and vegetables in their diets. Even though many people are found to be more health conscious these days because of all the awareness and information that is available today, we find that most of us are not following a healthy diet. One of the most important things to consider about nutrition is the food guide pyramid. The Food Guide Pyramid, issued by the USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture) in 1992, was meant to provide the American public with a guideline for their everyday food intake.
