Guns

Recently a law was enacted in Texas allowing citizens to carry concealed weapons on their persons. It requires those who carry these weapons to undergo training and bans guns from certain locations like schools. Today this law continues to cause controversy, and some citizens feel it should be repealed. Therefore, the new law does not believe it will reduce the crime rate and say it will, in fact, cause an increase in violent deaths in Texas. I am totally opposed because I don¡¯t think it would be a smart move and because you would be giving kids access to guns. I don¡¯t think anybody needs to be carrying a loaded handgun on streets. Don¡¯t think it would be very wise. I wouldn¡¯t even give it a thought. That would be too dangerous. There are many reasons people who are encouraged to buy and carry weapons are more likely to use them in arguments they get into in public places as there self-defense and the numbers of guns in people¡¯s homes will cause an increase in the number of accidental shootings and deaths, especially involving children.
