Global Warming

1.0 INTRODUCTION
The earth has been through a lot of changes these past few decades. It is mostly related to the sudden change of the climate. There is a lot of news about natural disasters that have affected many countries such as earthquake, cyclone, tsunami, flood, drought and many more, and many people have suffered from this. Now survival is a challenge for humans and the other living things on our planet. The climate change happens naturally but because of human activities the change is happening faster than is expected. The increasing of the earth’s temperature is known as the greenhouse effect, but it is widely known as global warming.

2.0 CAUSES OF GLOBAL WARMING

There are a lot of causes of global warming. Former Vice President Al Gore claimed that global warming is forcing ocean temperature to rise, which is causing storms, including cyclones and hurricanes to intensify (Jeff Poor 2008). The greenhouse effect is when the sun heats up the earth in the path of which the atmosphere is being passed through by the solar radiation and it is then absorbed at the earth’s surface (ECO Centre staff 2004). Most of the gases emitted are trapped and therefore the earth is losing less heat which results in global warming. And this is a bad thing as the earth will warm up faster than expected and causes every living thing to suffer. However, the main cause of global warming is due to human activities. Humans are mostly responsible for global warming over the past few decades. It is due to their thoughtless and irresponsible nature. Humans have burn a large amount of fossil fuel for their own usage in their daily life. Deforestation has been going on for a long time, as the population is increasing rapidly more trees are being cut down. More lands are being cleared for the use of humans needs. So there are not enough trees to absorb the carbon dioxide and therefore the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases. In addition, carbon emission has the...
