Euthanasia
Euthanasia is a subject that many people would have different opinions according to their situations and religious beliefs. Those who oppose the practice of euthanasia, argue that helping the terminally ill bring on their own deaths, or allowing them to determine the how and when, is not only inhumane, but is also an act of “playing God.” Those who are for the practice, say that a severely handicapped or terminally ill person should have the right to choose to live or die.
Euthanasia can be defined as, “The act or practice of putting to death painlessly a person suffering from an incurable disease.” Euthanasia can be traced as far back as the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations. It was sometimes allowed in these civilizations to help others die. Voluntary euthanasia was approved in these ancient societies
