Euthanasia
Abstract:
Should euthanasia be legalized? Is a human life so sacred that it must be preserved at all cost? If so than is it humane to let someone suffer during their end of life? I believe that a person should be able to make a decision determining their time and manner of death to a certain existent. I think there should be certain precautions taken in decided this unchangeable decision. Is it ethical to have a legal living will stating do not resuscitate, and when does this set in? When does preventing death begin and refusing to provide normal care, such as fluids and nutrients through an I.V. stop? Active and passive euthanasia is one less moral than the other, and can one become crueler than the other. Active euthanasia is when someone takes active means to bring on death. Passive euthanasia is when death is coming and there is no action taken to try to stop it.

Euthanasia also known as "mercy killing" it is the act of taking someone's life in a painless manner. Euthanasia is mainly associated with people with terminal illness or who have become incapacitated and do not want to go through the rest of their life suffering. This subject has come to be a very critical issue, should euthanasia be legalized? There are two sides to this critical issue. One side of the argument is that everyone has the right to die because it is your life and you should be allowed to terminate it at anytime you feel the need.
