Enery Resorce Plan

Energy Resource Plan (Your Name) (Your University) (Date) Energy Resource Plan Today, throughout the world many countries are facing an energy crisis; the natural resources that we currently use for energy such as coal, oil, gas, etc. are being depleted, and aren’t eternal; they will one day come to an end. One major way to resolve this issue is conserving energy. Conserving energy is a very important factor, “Because of the limited amount of nonrenewable energy sources on Earth, it is important to conserve our current supply or to use renewable sources so that our natural resources will be available for future generations, (EPA Energy Conservation, 1997, August)”. Also, other important reasons for conserving energy is helping people save money, minimizing pollution, and most of all it makes the world safer, cleaner, and more comfortable to live in. The energy resources that are in use today are high in demand and once they run out there is no replacing. Energy has become a valuable source to human beings and without it we wouldn’t be able to function. Some ways of conserving energy is making/getting electricity from renewable and nonrenewable energy resources. Renewable and nonrenewable are two types of energy sources that can help conserve energy. Renewable energy is sources that can naturally be replenished; some sources are wind power, solar energy from the sun, biomass fermentation from harvest leftovers that create ethanol, such as wood, corn chips/grain, sugar cane, and also water energy from geysers or oceans. On the other hand, nonrenewable energy sources cannot be replenished; these sources most likely are taken from the earth, meaning that they are natural. Some sources include coal, gas, and oil. Nonrenewable energy sources are also known as finite resources because over time they diminish, and cannot be replaced. Eventually the prices will rise for these sources being that they are so high in demand or they will cause environmental damage. There...
