Introduction
Recent years, as the computer technology develops at an amazing speed, questions have been raised about the impact of computer use on student’s grade. Nowadays, computers have act a important rule in our everyday lives, which really makes people wonder about the problems that computer use can possibly lead to. The main question is, how are the computers affecting student’s marks? A survey has been done to see how the school-unrelated computer use impacts the mark of grade students. The population is set to be the grade 11 and 12 students of the Woodlands Secondary School, because materials learned by them require more studying, so any destructions (in this case, computer use that are unrelated to school) are more likely to influence them on a larger scale.

Abstract
As a part of the survey population myself, I wanted to know how computer use can affect my marks in school. Curiosity brought me to conduct this survey and analyze deeply into the result. I came the conclusion that computer uses that are unrelated to school have an impact on grade 11 and 12 students’ grade, however, it is not significant. As the amount of time spent on computer doing things unrelated to school of a person increases, the mark of that person would likely decrease. The impact is grater for male students than female students, and students who use computers for longer hours are mostly boys. Students who chat and play games a lot feels that their marks are not as good as they expected, while students who web surf a lot fond that their mark is higher than their expectation. The result suggests that less time should be used on school-unrelated computer use, which would help you to get a better mark at school. Also, while you are on the computer, do more web surfing, and avoid chatting and gaming.
