Dreams Do Come True:
“Life is all about finding yourself.” I’ve heard this saying one to many times, and it didn’t hit me until I had finally realized what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I always knew I wanted to make a difference in peoples’ lives, but I just didn’t know in what way or form. Until one day it all came to me when I was volunteering at a free pediatric clinic for a local neighborhood. I was overwhelmed with the kids and how thankful they truly were. From that point I knew I wanted to be a nurse, I was going to do everything in my power to help kids. Their smiles brighten my day, and I knew that by helping them I was going to become a better person.
Here I am a senior at North High School, trying to find my way through life just like the other half of my fellow students. However I’m Kenia Cruz, I stand out from the normal crowd I’m not your average high school student I actually have a plan and goals I want to follow. Along with that plan I have included to one day attend Arizona State University (ASU) and its amazing nursing program. I know I would make a great addition to your campus, and exceed just like your other amazing students. I’m willing to work my way to the top and impress not only myself but others around me, that working hard in fact does pays off.
I’m a big believer that dreams do come true. So in that case I will never stop dreaming. I will become a nurse and change children’s lives for the better. I know college is hard and others tend to not complete it, but I know with my perseverance I will follow through and complete it. I’m strong-minded and extremely positive so I know that I’m more then capable of being part of your program and succeeding. I plan on giving college all I have in order to accomplish such an exciting career. I’ve never been so sure on something like I am now. I know for a fact that I do want to attend ASU, I don’t think any other school...
