A Classic Hero

What is a classic heor?

When we think of a hero we think of strong, brave, heroic people that save others from fires, gun point and disasters. But what is a hero? How does someone become a hero? Who are the heroes these days? I just think the word hero is being passed around a little too much these days. Maybe we just need to take a closer look at the topic and really think about what characteristics make up a hero. A hero is usually an ordinary person that sometimes does extraordinary things. A true hero in my eyes is really never a hero at all they are just trying to do what they think is right.

Like in the story “Momotaro: Boy of the Peach”, Momotaro wanted to go to the Island of the Ogres to kill all the Ogres because they were killing the people. He wanted to get rid of the Ogres and help out the people which he thought would be the right thing to do. In the end everyone was so grateful that Momotaro was there to save the day and help them get rid of the Ogres. Others might think of the police and firefighters as heroes because they keep the streets safe and save people from deadly fires. Heroes don’t have to be big strong people or be in a comic book they just need to be there at the right time and the right place sometimes.
I myself like to think of my friends as my heroes because they are always there for me when I’m feeling down and in a way there always there to save the day. They help me out in school when I’m feeling stressed and even just going a little out of the way for someone makes a big difference in a persons eyes. Heroes are friends,...
