In Class Essay

Last year with a little convincing and help I started as a college student at Brevard Community College. Now that I'm in the end of my second semester of school, I realized that I couldn't have possibly gotten this far without my very good friend Brandy pushing me to do my best. This all began about a month before the fall semester last year. Brandy was planning on starting in a nursing program at the college, and then started to encourage me to also to school. So I decided what I wanted to do, then Brandy and I sat down and figured out what classes I would take. Soon after that, we together went down to the campus and got registered for school.

As we both began school, Brandy became very busy with all her schoolwork, but she still took the time to help me with my homework when I needed her. We would even go on long study sessions at the library, some times seeming like they would never end. But Brandy always seemed to brake them up by making me laugh every so often, then make me get right back to work. Now that we are both in our second semester of school, things have gotten a little bit easier for us. I guess we're just getting used to it more now. But we still help each other with projects and homework. And she's always the one telling me not to stay out too late, so that I can manage to get up for school the next day, and the one that when you just doing nothing at the beach for hours, makes me get my school work out and start working on it.

So as you can see, Brandy and I have been helping each other with our semi-new college lives, and she helps remind me how nice it will be when we're all done. That's why I strongly believe that without her I could never have gotten this far, and I hope she stays around and we stay friends so that we can both finish college together.
