Since the 1960s and 1970s century, the women's movements and women's studies have been beginning to rise throughout the world. In the past several decades, the status of women has been greatly improved. People’s concept also has changed dramatically. The meaning of women's role is a part of function assumed in life. Nowadays, women play an important part in modern society. Many women are going into professions, such as medicine, law and engineering. They comprise a large part of the workers in businesses and factories. In addition, they are working up to important positions which used to be held mainly by men. There are even some businesses which are run completely be women. Clearly, women are making outstanding contributions to the progress of modern society. This essay show that women had great change of their society role in the past several years and also this change have positive effects on women such as women can gain good education, have fair opportunity on job market, increase position at home. Although this view is widely held, there is some evidence which women's role change is not enough.

First of all, women's education has made considerable progress. The rapid development of society helps females gain good and complete education. No one can deny the fact that a person’s education is the most important aspect of women’s life. Moreover, good educations are not only to help women’s self-improvement but also broaden their vision and increase exposure. As we all know, girls are given the role of housewife. Females learn about nurturing, play with dolls and later perhaps with younger brothers and sisters.
