Calvin Coolidge
John Calvin Coolidge was born on July 4, 1872 in Plymouth Notch, Vermont to John Calvin Coolidge and Victoria Josephine Moor Coolidge, Victoria Moor Coolidge, died March 14, 1885. He comes from Ancestry of English, some Indian blood.
He had one sister, Abigail Gratia Coolidge, who was born on April 15, 1875 and died March 6, 1890. He Attended the district one-room school in Plymouth Notch. He also Attended Black River Academy in Ludlow, Vermont from 1887 to 1890, nine in graduating class. His Spring term was at St. Johnsbury Academy. On Oct. 4th 1905 he married Grace Anna Goodhue.
He was the sixth Vice-President to become President upon the death of a chief executive. On the morning of November 11, 1918, at 11:00 o'clock, the armistice was signed and the guns went silent along the Western Front The War to End All Wars had Ended.
