Business Research Paper
Over the past century, the automobile has made dreams come true for people all over the world, and has become an essential element of both business and everyday life. If the automobile is to remain useful in the next century, however, our entire industry must face up to some serious environmental problems. New technologies have a tendency to take a life of their own. Thus, it is important with automobiles, which are very public in nature, to obtain social consensus.
Reacting to civic interest in hydrogen, as a probable alternative for oil, Rocky Mountain Institute published a documented handbook on hydrogen to clear up the abundant clashing and inaccurate criticism on this fuel (Lovins, 2003). Untrained interest in hydrogen has brought about opposing beliefs and has spread many delusions, amid them, hydrogen is extremely volatile and that making hydrogen is impractical. Moreover, the rapidly growing discord of business and government in drafting and making a transition to a hydrogen economy is appropriate. If correctly executed, could produce significant national and global benefits.
Hydrogen necessary to depose gasoline is already produced for other purposes. The progression to hydrogen should not necessitate tremendous investments in addition to those that the energy industries are already making. Actually, it will replace a considerable amount of those investments. Changing to hydrogen might need less money and quite conceivably be self-sufficient from its revenues.
