Building an Ethical Organization
With today’s growing cost of health care and the amount of Americans that remain uninsured it is my dream to be a part of an organization that provides health services to anyone and everyone. Almost 40% of Americans have no health coverage (Department of Health and Human Services, 2008), and many others cannot afford what their insurance does not cover. The organization that I will be directing will provide health services from a simple routine physical to mental health for those suffering from psychological disorders. As director of this organization it is my hope that we will provide a much needed service to the surrounding community.
The services that our organization will provide are standard health care for all ages, mental health counseling, and alcohol and drug addiction. Every community needs a facility where they can go and get help with health issues that arise for every family member, regardless if they have insurance or not. Providing these services is vital to improving a community no matter where you live. This organization will provide services that many people would never be able to afford or receive based on their income level or situation.
We are a non-profit organization that will rely on donations, grants, and people willing to volunteer their time. The purpose of our organization is not to make but to change people’s lives for the better in any way that we can. The organization wants to be able to assist each and every person that walks through its doors, and no one should be turned away. We will need to work hard to raise the type of funds that will be needed to keep this organization running.
