The purpose of this essay is to discuss my views regarding the psychological motivation of Lady Macbeth's words and actions while she is observed sleepwalking by her servant and a doctor. In addition I would also like to examine how these lines and actions relate to previous events throughout the story, and to explain my personal theories regarding the concept of guilt and morality.
