Protest song- Bob Marley
Buffalo soldier

The issue that is being protested in this song is Slavery and racisms. Its effecting our society in a way that people are treated differently according to race and or skin color. Bob Marley sings in this song that our people where brought to this country and we are working like slaves for them. "Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival" This song quote meaning that we were fighting from being slaved and fighting to survive.

This message in the song is effective ofcourse because a man of bob marleys influence and star power is very high. People will take notice to his lyrics and will realize and understand things more. His thoughts wear that, blacks where brought to the country (America) from Africa and now are stuck and struggling trying to live in another mans country. He sings that they were "stolen" from Africa and brought to America, he uses the word stolen very strongly and that gets the listeners attention, words like that.

The issue is always going to be. You can never get rid of racism, you can try to make it better but I doubt racisms will ever stop. Everyone has something to say about someone's race or color, its been like that since the beginning of time. Something like that never gets erased. Slavery has obviously been taken out, blacks are no longer slaves and their isn't anywhere in the world where there is slavery. There is different kinds of slavery I would say. Child labor is a kind of slavery I would say, so its not totally gone but its still their just not the kind that was here 40 years ago. Everything as time goes by gets better including these two: slavery and racisms. It's improved lately and will continue to improve.

My opinion is the song is very true and real. It explains a lot and is very sad but true at the same time. He makes his facts and sends out a message. I personally liked...
