The Battle Of God

Over the years there has been one question, and one question only, that has never been answered but always been asked. Although there are ways to answer the question indirectly, there is no real answer, and that question is the existence of God. There have been endless arguments and controversies in the philosophical world and the religious world trying to answer the question of whether or not God is real. Some say God is a thing to answer the questions of the unknown, and some say that he created the people that ask those very questions. Every religion believes that they know the truth and all else is wrong, so if only one can be right how is everyone else wrong? On top of that, if God does exist like they say, what is he capable of? And this is what has brought me to my belief that there is in fact a “God,” high being, or over soul, that is omni benevolent and omniscient, but not omnipotent, based upon the reasoning of a humans’ ability to have free will.
The problem that Atheists have with the existence of God is that he cannot exist if evil exists, based upon the theistic belief system; this is the logical problem if evil. The main problem that the Atheists have with the theistic belief system is the amount of power that God has. Many say that God is omnipotent, all-powerful, and has the ability to do all things logically possible, and more over that he is perfect in every way to be powerful, giving him zero boundaries. Another thing theist construct is that he is omni benevolent, all loving, giving him the ability to love everything perfectly. Therefore anything that God does is good because God does not have the ability to do something that is not good. According to these beliefs that God is all-powerful and all loving, then there should be no evil, because God alone has the power to prevent evil from happening. And of course, evil exists; therefore there is no God.
