To determine if a client is appropriate you need to consider if there is a problem, what kind of care is need, are there any mental health issues, what is there living situation, any family support ,are they court ordered, also there age and sex
4. How do you determine a client’s eligibility for admission to your agency or when to make a referral?
To determine if a client is appropriate you need to consider is the age of the client, gender, place of residency, legal status, are they a veteran and level of income and how are there being referred. If a client does not meet the requirements then numbers to other facilities that could possible help should be given
5. List five possible coexisting conditions that an alcohol or drug abuse client might have? Briefly describe the relationship of the coexisting condition to the presentation of substance abuse. Identify what additional professional assessments and or services are needed.
