My Reflection
I never liked school. For as far back as I can remember, I just did not like it. I felt like I had so many other things I could be doing. School was boring and took up too much time. As I finished high school and took advantage of the fact that I finally had the choice of where and if I wanted to continue on to college, I struggled with completing my Associates Degree. I knew I had to do it in order to pursue a fulfilling career, but it took 5 years and 3 different colleges to complete. Throughout this paper I will evaluate my education and career choices to establish my current life goals.
Interestingly enough, as I reflect back upon my life and career thus far, I am devoting my time and energy to the field of education. I want to make young children realize the importance of an education and instill in them this value at the pre-school age. As a young teen, I realized quickly how much I enjoyed baby-sitting and caring for children. As I became older, I realized it was not only fun but rewarding to teach kids new things and watch them grow and develop the new skills that I had helped them learn....
