The airline industry is facing a challenging period with the increasing labor costs and increasing fuel prices. The intense competition is creating a tough competitive base for a loyal customer base. Classic Airlines is looking for ways to boost consumer and employee confidence. They are planning on this by working to keep costs down while increasing customer and employee satisfaction. This will be accomplished by good having understanding of customer feedback. This understanding will help improve their long-term forecasting and marketing plans. By understanding Classic Airlines customers they will be able to find a cost effective way to differentiate its image from that of other airlines. With this they will be able to meet the companies goal of increasing global growth and shareholders wealth. The purpose of this paper will be provide analysis of the managements decisions and methods that they may implore to gain a leading edge in the aviation industry.

There are many factors that influence the largely uncontrolled marketing activities of Classic Airlines. Classic Air lines is working on cutting cost through high passenger load ratios but is still having a hard time with profitability because of the high fuel costs. This is an industry that is still recovering from 9/11 and over expansion. That time period as caused the consumers to be hit with high cost that have made them cutback on their discretionary travel spending (Plunkett Research, 2007) Classic Airlines are not the only airlines with this problem they all are faced with similar issues.
