WHAT DOES 15TH AUGUST MEAN TO ME

15TH August i.e the independence day of our country carries a lot of
importance in my life. Because Independence in my knowledge is a state
of mind which in a manner of comparison can be associated with
bungee-jumping. It is a certain sort of freedom which enables you to
do exactly what you want to do, when you want to do it, with the
convenient and mindful knowledge that help will always be rendered
when necessary in times of trouble (almost as if acting like a back up
plan) soothing your every emotion during the course of any action. In
my case my haven of refuge which I indefinitely will seek when I am in
trouble is my parents.
What is Independence? It simply means the freedom from external
control. However, people are completely independent only when they
become absolutely responsible not only for themselves but also for the
people they are associated with. Independence signifies freedom in
every form-freedom of speech, expression, choice, etc. Just because we
are independent it doesn't mean that we use our independence in the
wrong way.
I believe it's the pride, courage and honor of having the freewill to
live a life that I will do my best not to take for granted.
Independence means a life of freedom and free will that has always
felt like a gift with its opportunity to use it for the greater good
of mankind. That is my idea of independence but of course it varies in
different people. It depends on your circumstances and if you were me,
independence would mean not needing to rely on anyone else for
financial security.

when u see.... a 20 year old lad rocking the country with bombs,
bloodshed, agony, democracy being sold by its guardians, habit of
harassing and ogling women, politicians reinstating their foolishness
with every...
