Editing
Teachers rarely expect a brilliant story or plot from student writers. Mostly, they are looking for clarity, correct grammar and spelling. If you can put together sentences that sound mature and flow from one to another nicely, you will get very high marks. But remember that correctness comes first.
You're not going to find any web site that will edit your essay for free. On the other hand, there are a number of professional editors that are willing to look over your essay and make corrections and suggestions for a fee.
I suggest you learn how to edit your own essays. It is a great skill to have! The Homework Center Writing Skills web site is a great place to start. They have info on how to write any kind of essay or research paper - AND they have the details, like how to correctly site a quote or reference.
Also, try researching some other writing-tips web sites.
A final tip: if you read your own essay out loud to yourself or a friend, then it is easier to tell if it makes sense or has mistakes. Good luck!
